A few months ago I mentioned wanting to start some sort of simple technology news feed site to cover the kinds of topics we talk about on NODE, so open source, decentralization, 3d printing, robotics, virtual reality, computer security, and all that sort of thing.
Well, today I'm glad to finally announce the NODE news feed. It's a simple one page site with up to date technology news and more. The idea is that it will be updated every day, so you can bookmark and get the latest, most relevant information without having to waste time scouring the net.
The design is inkeeping with the rest of NODE related stuff, so there's nothing unneeded. The site is simple text, with no scripts, or any other nonsense.
You simply scan through the news, click the links to be transported to the stories. Stuff you've already clicked on will change colour so you can easily see what you've read.
Below the main new section is a kind of noticeboard with the latest open source jobs etc, with most of them being remote. I also want this to be an area for those of you working on open source projects, who require specific help, so post help wanted ads on there, to make more connections, and start working on interesting and important things together.
And underneath that we also have some interesting new sources, daily crypto prices, then a bunch more useful links, including a load of different P2P projects you should check out.
This site also has a mirror on the Dat P2P network, and the address link is at the bottom of the page.
